Our restaurant is housed in a historic property on Goose Gate, in a building which was once home to a gentleman's tailors, so our name chose itself​. Everything else stemmed from a love of à la carte dining and good old-fashioned hospitality, so expect both when you step through our door.

Our food menu is in constant rotation. Seasonal, locally-sourced produce dictates the offering on any one visit, with a team of talented chefs bringing small batches of ingredients together to create limited quantities of starters, mains and desserts. Each dish is replaced by a new alternative as and when it is sold out, so don't be afraid to see the menu change: mid-evening menu alterations are a deliberate and regular occurrence which allows us to get the very best out of each and every ingredient.​​​
